REVIEW: FORENCOS’s Thursday Teatree Relax Silk Mask!

June 18, 2017

I’ve been really slacking on my skincare lately, and it’s starting to show. I’ve picked up another job while preparing for all my travel plans; KCON isn’t cheap, people.

Tonight after a long ugly weekend of double shifts and subpar face wash routines, I noticed little breakout spots on my cheeks. For me, this is a telltale sign of sh*t skincare and diet. While I go eat a salad, check out what I thought of the FORENCOS 7 Days Mask Thu Teatree Relax Silk Mask.

I found this on google because I forgot to take my own pretty picture before ripping the package a new one, srrz

I got this face mask inside the 2017 St. Patrick’s Day SnackFever Deluxe box this year and never got a chance to use it.

I’ll be using it tonight because in my experience, tea tree is a great ingredient for acne and breakout.

In the past, I’ve been a huge fan of Mediheal’s TeaTree Care Solution Essential Mask. I tried it last year at KCON NY and have always kept a few on hand since (so crazy how it’s been a whole year since then!)

The mask has 50mg of tea tree oil to give you an intensely soothing experience. The benefits of tea tree include oil control, pore reduction, and balancing the skin to protect it from irritation and keep it pure and clean. I always reach for a mask with this key ingredient when my skin is actin’ up!

The serum in the pure cotton cellulose sheet is 7-free, which means it was created without parabens, artificial dyes, phenoxyethanol, benxophenone, mineral oil, sulfates, or petroleum. Pretty skin conscious if you ask me!

Like most sheet masks, the user experience is simple, but there are a few things you can do to improve your experience!

Carefully tear the package open along the top and gently pull out the soaked sheet. In this particular pack, there’s going to be a paper sheet folded within the cotton that actually goes on your face: do not put that on your face. You won’t be able to breathe. You can tell the paper wasn’t meant to stay on your face because the nose hole is trash compared to the craftsmanship on the actual sheet.

Yes, I made that mistake in the first 4 minutes. No, I could not breathe.

The instructions say to leave this mask soaking on your face for 10-20 minutes, and with sheet masks, it’s always best to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations! I left mine on for a little over 20 minutes.

After you take the sheet mask off, make sure to pat it in with your fingertips and really rub in the product. Bring it down to your décolletage, neck, and chest, and get your hands into the leftover juices in the package and spread that around as well. You don’t want to waste a drop!

I thought this sheet mask was awesome! One thing I look for in a good mask is how my skin feels after the serum has been patted in and absorbed. This mask was really nice because once I let it settle, my skin did not feel sticky after. I got up and added a sleeping pack on top to really seal the deal, and I’m so excited to see my skin in the morning.

I’m really glad I was able to try this product out thanks to my friends at Snack Fever! If I saw these on sale in my favorite kbeauty stores and booths in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to talk them up or buy some for myself!

Holla! 💚

I purchased this product with my own money, and had no contact with any company regarding a review. In no way shape or form was I compensated for this honest opinion.
